About This Dancing Life

Dancing is as old as love” — Lucian

Every emotion we feel, every experience we live, expresses itself in movement. A victorious athlete dances in triumph, warriors build up courage and terrify their enemies with war dances, a mother cradling her baby will gently rock from side to side, lovers or friends throw their arms about each other, expressing their delight. We react to music with movement, toes or fingers tapping instinctively to the rhythm, body swaying to the beat. You can’t ignore it – we’re hard-wired to dance. It’s in our DNA. Dance runs all through our lives, a basic, essential and wonderful fact of existence….

People dance because dance can change things. One move can bring people together. One move can make you believe there’s something more. One move can make a whole generation free”. — Adam G. Sevani

We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams.” — Albert Einstein
